Abstract Submission

Deadline for abstract submission : 24 March 2014


To submit an abstract, please follow the instructions:

(1) Download the Abstract Submission Form.

(2) Complete the Abstract Submission Form.
Please state your preference for oral or poster presentation, indicate the scientific topic where your investigation should be addressed and fill the different sections in. Abstract should be exclusively in English and should not exceed 300 words (no figure, tab or bibliographic references list in the abstract). Only Times New Roman size 11 is accepted.

(3) Save your Abstract Submission Form in .doc or .docx format with following file name:

(4) Your Abstract Submission Form should be submitted before 15th March 2014 by email to the following address: (email subject : abstract isobay14)

After submitting, you will receive an email confirming reception of your abstract.
In order to determine the relevance of the paper, the abstract must be an indicative summary, which reports the purpose, methodology, results, conclusions and implications of the study. All abstracts submitted will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee specialised in each topic. The Scientific Committee will select the papers to be presented at the Symposium according to their quality, relevance of the study and suitability to the aims and topics of the Symposium.
The best oral communication and poster of junior researchers will be considered by the Scientific Committee.

Instructions for posters

The size of the poster should not exceed 120 cm high / 84 cm wide, i.e. A0 format, portrait orientation.
Posters should be exclusively in English.
The organizing Committee will provide the poster panels.

Instructions for oral communications

English is highly recommended for oral presentations, but Spanish and French languages are accepted.
Presentations should be produced in Microsoft Windows PowerPoint, or in a format that is viewable using PowerPoint 2007. PDF formats readable by Adobe Reader are also acceptable.
Presentations are limited to 15 minutes, at which time the conclusion slide will be presented (on prompting by the Session Chair). At the 17 minute mark, the Session Chair will invite questions for 2 to 3 minutes.
